Η Τοπική Φιλοδασική Ένωση Γαλαξειδιού ιδρύθηκε το 1927 στο Γαλαξείδι με σκοπό την αναδάσωση, την προστασία του δάσους και τη συστηματική διάδοση της ιδέας της αναδάσωσης και εθελοντισμού. Ιδρύθηκε από τον Καμμένο Γεώργιο. Στις 20 Δεκεμβρίου του 1930, η Ακαδημία Αθηνών απονέμει στη Τοπική Φιλοδασική Ένωση Γαλαξιδίου βραβείο υπογραμμίζοντας το έργο της στην δενδροφυτεύση της περιοχής Πέρα Πάντα Γαλαξειδίου.
